Today you will hear from Carl Anderson, the Supreme Knight of the Knights of Columbus. First, he shares some remarks on yesterday’s news from the Vatican that Fr. McGivney, founder of the Knights of Columbus, has been declared a Venerable Servant of God. This is a major step on the journey to sainthood, and it is an exciting announcement for all Knights and American Priests. If canonized, Fr. McGivney would be the first American born priest to be named a saint. Carl also answers some questions about the future direction of the Knights. Finally, we talked about the themes of Carl’s new book A Civilization of Love – What Every Catholic Can Do to Transform the World. Carl shares briefly his thoughts on globalization, building a pro-life culture, and rebuilding the family. Be sure to share this show with all your friendly neighborhood Knights.
