Bella is truly the most incredible movie to be on the big screen this past year and it has tremendous appeal to people on all sides of the political spectrum due to its incredible portrails of Latinos and its very life affirming message.Â We were blessed in this interview to be able to talk with Jason Jones, one of the Co-Executive Producers of the film.Â He shared his views about why the movie has such broad appeal and what it was like working with Eduardo Verastegui, Leo Severino, and Alejandro Gomez Monteverde.Â He also tells about the many lives that have been saved by Bella so far, and the plans to make sure that many more lives are saved by this movie in the future.

Today’s interview goes to the root of what it takes to have a successful marriage.Â Matt Pinto is the publisher of God’s Plan for a Joy Filled Marriage.Â Christopher West and an expert team put together this marriage preparation program to be used by couples as they prepare for marriage.Â As the secular attack on marriage has become more profound, Christopher West and his team have to give a better education to couples preparing for the sacrament.Â They tried to address the issues that they saw were lacking in existing pre-cana program like a lack of firm church teachings on the Theology of the Body and related sexual moral issues.Â In developing the program, they discovered that when presented with church teachings and the reasons behind them, many couples turned their lives around, stopped having premarital sex, stopped using birth control, and stopped living together.Â The success rate with this program has been huge, and many diocese are starting to use it to supplement their existing pre-cana programs.Â If you are interested in the state of marriage in the church and the signs of hope for a resurgence in church teachings, then you need to listen to this show.

Tom Allen, executive producer and director of Champions of Faith: Baseball, is co-founder, editor-in-chief and president of Catholic Exchange, a leading Catholic media organization. He has founded and managed other media organizations including American Family Media, Catholic Outreach and Kolbe Communications LLC, which provided distribution expense financing for The Passion of The Christ. He also served in key producÂing and editorial roles in the start-ups of Relevant Radio and MovieMaker Magazine. Tom has co-published and/or co-authored a number of bestselling books including A Guide to Narnia, The DaVinci Deception and the million-selling A Guide to the Passion: 100 Questions About The Passion of The Christ. He works closely with leading political, entertainment, sports, business and church figures to try to positively impact the culture through the advancement of purpose-driven causes, products and programs. He received a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Notre Dame in 1984 and a certificate in Film Production from New York University in 1992.
