Today’s interview goes to the root of what it takes to have a successful marriage.  Matt Pinto is the publisher of God’s Plan for a Joy Filled Marriage.  Christopher West and an expert team put together this marriage preparation program to be used by couples as they prepare for marriage.  As the secular attack on marriage has become more profound, Christopher West and his team have to give a better education to couples preparing for the sacrament.  They tried to address the issues that they saw were lacking in existing pre-cana program like a lack of firm church teachings on the Theology of the Body and related sexual moral issues.  In developing the program, they discovered that when presented with church teachings and the reasons behind them, many couples turned their lives around, stopped having premarital sex, stopped using birth control, and stopped living together.  The success rate with this program has been huge, and many diocese are starting to use it to supplement their existing pre-cana programs.  If you are interested in the state of marriage in the church and the signs of hope for a resurgence in church teachings, then you need to listen to this show.

Many people are not aware of the vision Mother Teresa had in 1947 in which Jesus revealed to her His mission for her life.  Our interview today with Fr. Joseph Langford, co-founder of the Missionaries of Charity Fathers, discusses this vision as seen by Mother Teresa and the impact it had on her life.  Fr. Langford shares his personal experiences working with Mother Teresa, and explains the mystical relationship Mother Teresa had with Mary.  Fr.
