Chris, great meeting you at CNMC. I'm catching up on podcasts and just listened to #105-Magnificat. I use it every day - Deacon Tom suscribed to it years ago, and I sorta took it over! I also loved the interview with Susie Lloyd. Dee

Chris, I just started searching the web for Catholic sites and am completely amazed at the numerous amount of them. I needed to get back into Catholicism, as I was studying an non-catholic bible site and felt I was missing something still. You site is splendid and you will surely help many in their faith, to know the truth, and to help serve in the body of Christ, His Church. I am serious, keep up the splendid work. God bless you.

Dear Chris:

I was surfing around to find blogs to tell about my new book (In Defense of Human Dignity), but after looking over the postings, I think you might want to interview the president of the Center for Economic and Social Justice, Dr. Norman Kurland, contact info at www.cesj.org. While not a Catholic (CESJ has an interfaith membership), the late Fr. John Miller of "Social Justice Review" said that Norm knows more about Catholic social teaching than many Catholics. He is the principal author of "Curing World Poverty" (1994) and "Capital Homesteading for Every Citizen" (2004), and has developed a solution to the current financial crisis called the "Homeowners' Equity Corporation" that you want to ask about; it is consistent with the natural law as well as sound economics and finance. Give him a call, but explain who you are as I see I can't cc. him on this comment.

Yours,
Michael D. Greaney, CPA, MBA
Director of Research

Dear Chris,

I found your blog and I thought that you might be interested in the musical act called The Priests. What separates this classical trio from others is that they really are catholic priests, who have recently signed a recording contract with Sony BMG. They are currently recording an album of classic hymns from the Latin Mass but you can find them on their website at http://www.thepriests.com and even on youtube at www.youtube.com/thepriestsofficial. If you like what you hear it would be great if you could help them become better known to the public by mentioning them in one of your blog posts one day.

Thank you,

Jennifer Chin

Chris, What you are doing with your podcasts is wonderful. It is a great way to evangelize. We have just begun to use this as a way to reach out to others, both Catholic and non-Catholic. I have been teaching an adult ed class at Church every Sunday evening and we began to capture them as podcasts and put them on the internet. We now have people all over the world tuning in and from the comments we get we seem to be helping many. Keep up the good work.

Hello Chris. I invite you to take a look at my new Threshold Bible Study series. It is a thematic Bible Study for Catholics that combines traditional Bible study with the lectio divina method. Take a look at the website to see lots of endorsements by Catholic bishops, pastoral leaders and biblical scholars.

I would be pleased to do a podcast on this series for your site.

Hi, Chris. I just discovered your site and appreciate what you're doing. When you have a chance, I hope you'll check out my site for Catholic Poets & Writers. I've been a freelance and assignment writer for the Christian markets for over 30 years and, for over 20 years, have worked with other poets and writers through correspondence courses, workshops, and critiques. After joining the Church in 2000, I felt there just weren't enough helps for Catholic poets & writers, but I had too many writing projects to do anything about it until this year. At present, I have how-to's on researching, writing, and revising fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. Those articles are free, of course, but for fees below the industry standard, I also offer critiques to provide one-on-one help to writers/poets who want professional feedback on their poems or manuscripts. My site has more information, but if you have questions, please let me know. Thanks. God bless - Mary
