I have been a hunter and fisherman all my life and along with my brothers and friends, we learned from our fathers. My father, Napoleon G. Ramon, grew up in the mountains of Coahuila, Mexico, near the city of Monclova, and because of the absense of schools due to the Mexican Revolution, he learned the arts of trapping, hunting and fishing. He never taught us to trap, but he did teach us hunting and fishing.
The Great Chaparral of south Texas and northern Coahuila, particularly between Amistad and Zapata dams is overtaken by violence and crime.
Read iUniverse's novels; ON BOTH SIDES OF THE RIVER and THE MYSTERY OF LAWLESSNESS to consider a Roman Catholic prospective about the problems we face at the border and how they have poisoned the enjoyment of the outdoors in this very special wilderness.
ALBERTO M. RAMON, lawyer, author and outdoorsman.

Chris,
Although I'm neither a hunter nor a fisherman, I really enjoyed this show. I agree that being out in nature can be a very spiritual experience. Thanks for a great episode! Lisa
