7 steps to becoming financially freeIn this interview, Phil Lenahan talks about how to become financially free through setting financial goals, retiring bad debt, saving, and investing.  He also brings in the spiritual and relationship side of finances by counseling couples how to talk about money as a couple and how to give back to the Lord what is the Lord’s.  He talks about debt statistics in the country, the financial crisis that is occuring for many people, what is good debt and what is bad debt, college decisions, and planning for a fruitful future.  The winners of our book giveaway are also announce at the end of the show.

Phil Lenahan is popular speaker on finaces and stewardship.  He counsels couples on how to get debt under control and how to manage God’s gifts to them in a responsable way.  He created Veritas Financial Ministries (www.veritasfinancialministries.com) as an outreach to counsel couples and to train others to do the same thing on a local level.  He has also been the CFO of Catholic Answers, the producers of Catholic Answers Live and other apologetics outreaches.
